Lake Titicaca, the largest lake in the tropics, with its fertile shores, green islands and bountiful waters, attracted the first human settlers thousands of years ago, and the countless archaeological sites scattered across the region are testament to this great history. We will visit the highest navigable lake in the world with its amazing floating reed islands as well as the traditional islands Amantani and Taquile.
