The Cusco area is a paradise for remote trails. Many dirt roads and single tracks criss-cross the mountains and valleys. Those were the backbone for the Inca Empire , with miles of paths through valleys, deep canyons, high oasis, colorful villages, traditional culture and archaeological remains in different topographies between the high Andes and the Amazon cloud forest.
